چکیده

Default and non-monotonic inference rule* are not really epistemological statements, but are instead desires or preferences of the agent about the makeup of Its own mental state (cpistemic or otherwise). The fundamental relation in non-monotonic logic is not so mum self-knowledge as self-choice or self-determination, and the fundamental justification of the interpretations and structures involved come from decision theory and economics rather than from logic and epistemoiogy. Pareto Optimality Conditions and Duality for Vector Quadratic Fractional Optimization Problems

One of the most important optimality conditions to aid in solving a vector optimization problem is the first-order necessary optimality condition that generalizes the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker condition. However, to obtain the sufficient optimality conditions, it is necessary to impose additional assumptions on the objective functions and on the constraint set.The present work is concerned with the co...

Solution of Multi-Objective optimal reactive power dispatch using pareto optimality particle swarm optimization method

For multi-objective optimal reactive power dispatch (MORPD), a new approach is proposed where simultaneous minimization of the active power transmission loss, the bus voltage deviation and the voltage stability index of a power system are achieved. Optimal settings of continuous and discrete control variables (e.g. generator voltages, tap positions of tap changing transformers and the number of...

Optimality conditions for Pareto efficiency and proper ideal point in set-valued nonsmooth vector optimization using contingent cone

In this paper, we first present a new important property for Bouligand tangent cone (contingent cone) of a star-shaped set. We then establish optimality conditions for Pareto minima and proper ideal efficiencies in nonsmooth vector optimization problems by means of Bouligand tangent cone of image set, where the objective is generalized cone convex set-valued map, in general real normed spaces.

Optimality Conditions and Duality in Nonsmooth Multiobjective Programs

We study nonsmooth multiobjective programming problems involving locally Lipschitz functions and support functions. Two types of Karush-Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions with support functions are introduced. Sufficient optimality conditions are presented by using generalized convexity and certain regularity conditions. We formulate Wolfe-type dual and Mond-Weirtype dual problems for our nonsmo...

A Theorem for Bayesian Group Decisions

This paper presents a natural extension of Bayesian decision theory from the domain of individual decisions to the domain of group decisions. We assume that each group member accepts the assumptions of subjective expected utility theory with respect to the alternatives from which they must choose, but we do not assume, a priori, that the group as a whole accepts those assumptions. Instead, we i...

PERFORMANCE-BASED MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMUM DESIGN FOR STEEL STRUCTURES WITH INTELLIGENCE ALGORITHMS

A multi-objective heuristic particle swarm optimiser (MOHPSO) based on Pareto multi-objective theory is proposed to solve multi-objective optimality problems. The optimality objectives are the roof displacement and structure weight. Two types of structure are analysed in this paper, a truss structure and a framework structure. Performance-based seismic analysis, such as classical and modal push...
